Fried Nori Rolls With 3 Meats

Nori seaweed is a common ingredient in Japanese dishes. Nori rolls are popular worldwide. Try these fried nori rolls for something different, yet delicious.

Prepare time: 35 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 45 minutes
 

Ingredients

  • Ground beef — 1/4 lb (160 g)
  • Ground chicken — 1/4 lb (160 g)
  • Shrimp (prawn meat) — 1/3 lb (175 g)
  • Roasted seaweed — 5 sheets
  • Oil for deep frying

Beef marinade

  • Curry powder — 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce — 1 tbsp

Prawn marinade

  • Ginger juice — ¼ tsp
  • Pepper — a pinch
  • Salt — ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves — 2 (chopped)

Chicken marinade

  • Five-spice powder — ½ tsp
  • Salt — ½ tsp
  • Sesame oil — 3 drops
  • Pepper — a pinch
  • Ginger juice — ½ tsp

Directions

1. Prepare marinades for chicken, beef, and shrimp. Add each meat to its own marinade and leave it aside for ½ hour.

2. Cut a sheet of roasted seaweed in half. Spread beef on it and wrap it into a roll.

3. Repeat Step 2 above using shrimp and chicken.

4. Wrap the seaweed roll with aluminum foil.

5. When the oil is hot, put in the foil roll. Fry for about 8-10 minutes. When it is cooked, it will float up.

6. Unwrap the foil and cut into sections while it is still warm.
