Naturally, everyone wants to improve their health, but nowadays we are occupied with electronic devices to such an extent that almost everyone, whether young or old, spends a lot of time looking at a smartphone. Many of us are immersed in our devices, and that is not great for our health. A few simple exercises can make drastic changes.

Doing these simple exercises for about a minute every day can make improvements to your health for the whole day

1. Rub the palms

Simply put the palms together and, with a little bit of force, quickly rub them together for a minute.

Effects: This can stimulate the different meridians and acupuncture points of the palms. It can unblock the meridians and regulate the yin and yang energies. It can also ease shoulder and neck discomfort, as well as relieve tired eyes.

2. Massage the head

Press the four fingers of each hand on the center of the top of your head. Then press the temple on both sides and the back of the occipital area with the thumbs. Press evenly for a minute.

Effects: This can promote blood circulation in the brain. Frequent massage can also make your hair dark and shiny.

3. Rub the outer ears

Use your fingers to massage the ears back and forth from the top to the earlobe until the ears get hot.

Effects: Doing this is especially effective for relieving tinnitus and dizziness.

4. Roll the eyes

The key to this exercise is to keep the head still. Roll the eyeballs clockwise and counterclockwise for 20 times each.

Effects: This can refresh the eyes and prevent myopia.

5. Massage the nose

Use the back of both thumbs to massage the wings of the nose 30 times each or until they get hot. Also, rub the bridge of the nose with a finger from top to bottom 10 times.

Effects: This can promote blood and qi flow, moisten the lungs, and prevent colds.

6. Open and close the mouth

If you wake up and don’t feel like getting out of bed yet, you can start your day with this simple exercise. Simply open your mouth as wide as possible, then as you close the mouth let the teeth click together. Do this 20 times.

Effects: This can wake up the brain and prevent facial muscle atrophy for the middle-aged and the elderly.

7. Press the navel lightly

When lying in bed at night, cross the palms of your hands and put them on your navel. Then turn them clockwise 30 times and counterclockwise for 30 more times.

Effects: This can smoothen the stomach and intestines, promote digestion, and reduce unwanted fat on the belly.

8. Stretch the limbs

Simply stretch the arms and legs as often as possible. You can do this while lying down or standing.

Effects: This can promote blood circulation and enhance the supply of oxygen and blood to the heart and brain.
