  • Wash off with clear water

Usage

Apply once a day for three months; it can reduce the melanin in the skin. After three months, continue twice a week.

Hawthorn guizhi brown sugar soup

Ingredients

15 grams of hawthorn fruit, 5 grams of guizhi, and 30 grams of brown sugar

Method

  • Put the hawthorn fruit and guizhi into an earthen pot
  • Add two bowls of water
  • On low heat, gently let it simmer down to 1 bowl
  • Add brown sugar
  • Mix thoroughly until boiling

Efficacy

Warm the body, veins, and pulses; it has an analgesic effect on blood stasis. It’s suitable for women with dysmenorrhea and a pale complexion.

Ingredients

Ginger, dates, brown sugar — 30 grams each

Method

  • Clean the ginger and dates thoroughly
  • Chop the ginger
  • Remove the date pits
  • Add brown sugar to boil
  • Drink the soup, and eat the dates

Efficacy

To warm the body’s veins and drive off the cold. It’s suitable for cold dysmenorrhea and chloasma.
