All is Due is the debut Album by Prince Bishop and will be out on November 25.

Against the tide, soul searching, with deep meaning — this is how Durham-based Prince Bishop’s new album could be described. Inspired by different bands and genres, from alternative, post, and progressive rock, the British rockers’ debut record All is Due is to be released on November 25, heralded by the heartfelt single Return, which has been out since September.

The 44-minute long album is a perfect combination of harmonious vibes, creative tunes, and captivating sounds, magically completed by Ben Trenerry’s warm voice and lyrics, which confer energy and balance to each track. In Prince Bishop’s music, influences ranging from Supertramp to Muse, Radiohead, and Jeff Buckley are elaborated and developed into a unique and original experience.

Prince Bishop’s members, Ben Trenerry, (vocals and guitar), Mark Bell (bass), and Bob Douglass (drums), explain that All is Due is a collection of songs initially composed with just a voice and acoustic guitar, but later transformed into a more structured genre, featuring layers of studio work and enriched by vocal harmonies, drums, bass, and even the vibes of a handcrafted Hammond organ. The album, which was meant to be released before the COVID-19 pandemic, was delayed due to the pandemic and is finally about to be officially published worldwide.

“I have spent years trying to understand and translate the sounds I hear in my head and the feeling they create. It has taken an age to get here,” says Trenerry, the songwriter, talking about the journey that led to his music. “Lyrically, All is Due certainly is representative of my worldview. As someone who has always asked the bigger questions, I traveled the world looking for inner peace, but it was only when I started to look deep inside myself that I started to understand where I needed to go. And this is where the title comes from — it is about Karma ultimately. ‘It’s all due, all is due — everything that comes to me, that comes to you.’ As a band, we are genuinely thrilled and proud to finally have this out and we hope people get something from it.”

Prince Bishop aims at igniting big questions and guiding the audience through a search for a higher truth and, unlike other bands, it takes the listener through a journey of introspection, exploration, and discovery.
