Ultra-processed foods are often marketed as “healthy,” “natural,” and even “organic.” While these words may describe the original ingredients, they don’t refer to the process of how the food was made. So it’s buyer beware.

To avoid giving in to temptation, you should remove these items entirely from your diet. The key to a healthy diet is ensuring you always have healthy options available, such as nutrient-dense, whole organic foods, in your pantry.
