Do you often get more tired the more you sleep? Even after eight hours of sleep, you still feel tired. This is because your brain has not appropriately rested. Therefore, you must be aware of three proper resting methods, and when you’ve put them into practice, you will look good and be full of energy!

3 ways to relax your brain

1. Sensory rest

The hectic pace of work and life leads to fatigue of the five senses, which also tends to cause a certain degree of damage to the mind and body.

Try putting down your 3C electronic products, move away from the television and the computer, and do not look at your social media. This will give you a real rest. Instead, go outdoors, breathe in the fresh air, listen to your favorite music, use some relaxing aromatherapy oil, or cook some of your favorite food.

2. Mental rest

Many people think that laying back and resting your head is a way of doing nothing. But even if you don’t seem to be doing anything, your mind may constantly be thinking about what mistakes you made at work today, what to do about the work you’re behind on, or what difficulties you may be facing. So in this way, your mind is not cleared.

Suppose you can change your approach and spend some time immersing yourself in your interests each day, taking your attention away from the many complex thoughts in your life. Giving some time to do a bit of reading, listening to music, exercising, and other stress relievers can help you gain a real breakthrough and an energy boost.

3. Emotional rest

Modern people tend to ignore and suppress emotions in their daily lives, which may lead to the deterioration of memory and learning in the long run. To give your emotions a rest, you need to acknowledge and process all your feelings and not let those overwhelming emotions burden you.

When you need to vent your emotions, you can try to tame those feelings by talking to a trusted friend. Laughter can also be a solution; you can fake a laugh until you laugh or find something funny to make yourself laugh. If you feel misunderstood, belittled, or disrespected, take the initiative to communicate with the other person to resolve the conflict.

The circumstances you find yourself in can be challenging, embarrassing, or complex, and you may feel dread or uncomfortable; try to find your fear point and face the situation with kindness and a positive attitude. Resolving problems gives you a calm and restful mind.

7 ways to relieve physical fatigue

These seven movements relieve fatigue, and sedentary people quickly try them.

1. Brain fatigue solution: Deep breathing

Brain fatigue is mainly due to excessive use of the brain; you can take the initiative to breathe deeply to send more blood to the brain and increase the supply of nutrients to the brain. With deep breathing, this action should be slow and consistent. It is best to inhale deeply through your nostrils so that the small abdomen and upper abdomen will turn the chest inward. Do not close the air and then exhale at the same speed. Instead, breathe in a whole mouthful of air and spit out, do this repeatedly 30 times.

2. Eye pain cure: A yawn

If you use your eyes for too long, your eyes will be dry and become sore. A yawn can stimulate the tear glands to secrete tears, moisten the eyes and relieve the discomfort caused by dryness. After yawning, you can close your eyes and use your index finger, middle finger, and ring finger to gently press the eyeballs for 20 seconds to promote blood circulation and stimulate secretions out of the eyes.

3. Back pain relief: Stretch your back

When your back is sore, stretching can contract most of the muscles in your body, bring the stagnant blood back to your heart, improve blood circulation, take away the metabolic products in your muscles, eliminate back pain, and even chase away the fatigue of your whole body. The method is: stand with your legs open, shoulder-width apart, cross your arms, and arch your back forward and backward 5 to 10 times each.

4. Shoulder and neck tension release: Around the arm

When sitting or maintaining the same posture for too long, feeling stiff and sore shoulders and neck, you can separate your legs and stand parallel to your shoulders, put your arms around your shoulders for 10 turns, then backward for 10 turns, and do 3 to 5 sets in a row. The range of movement should be extensive, from slow to fast, with a few seconds between each change of direction to reduce the impact on the shoulders.

5. Overcome the sleepy syndrome: Knead the middle finger

The tip of the middle finger is more sensitive to pain, so when you are fatigued, knead the middle finger to refresh your brain. The method is as follows: first, with the left hand, knead the middle fingertip of the right hand for 1 minute, and then exchange both hands and knead for another 1 minute, and then compare the pain in the two hands; if the pain is more obvious in one hand, continue to knead until the pain in both hands is the same.

6. Both legs swollen pain relief: Lie down and lift the legs

If you walk too much and your legs are swollen and sore, you can lie flat on a bed, without pillows, with your legs raised on the wall; try to make the legs and body 90°, and maintain 5 to 10 minutes to relieve the long-term blood stagnation in the legs. This will reduce the sense of soreness.

7. The fastest way to relax your brain: Meditation

There are many ways to eliminate fatigue and regain energy, but which is the best way to rest the brain? Meditation has been studied at Harvard Medical School and other places that do research. One study on meditation shows that only an instant result of recovery from fatigue is when meditation is used, compared to sleeping, listening to music, and many other relaxation methods. Prolonged meditation relaxes the brain and prolongs mental and concentration power.
