The Kao’s Hydrangea Fields have three flower fields. Covering about 0.5 hectares (1.2 acres), the first flower field is located in the picturesque Yangmingshan, and is one of the ideal destinations for hydrangea lovers in northern Taiwan. This flower field usually opens between mid-June and mid-July every year.
Every year around this time when spring is in full swing, an estimated 1 million people from home and abroad flock to Yangmingshan, also known as Mt. Yangming (陽明山), or Grass Mountain (草山).
